Atlas, Samuel
(b. 1889)
   US philosopher of Lithuanian origin. Born in Kamai, Lithuania, he went to the US in 1942. He taught at the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, and later in New York. His writings include From Critical to Speculative Idealism: The Philosophy of Solomon Maimon.
